Ericka Nicolas Begay
She is a Navajo Artist, born in 1996.
She honors the Native American way of life and history,
so she creates jewelry using traditional methods : 
A technique called INGOT SILVER,
everything from melting the silver is done by hand.
Each piece is shaped by time, tradition, and heart.

機械ものや模造品が多くなった現代において
ネイティブアメリカン本来の考え方や歴史を
大切に思うエリッカニコラスビゲイは
シルバーを溶かすところから全ての工程を手作業で行う
インゴットシルバーという伝統的な技法にこだわり
ジュエリー製作を行っています
彼女のジュエリーには機械では生み出せない
て手仕事の温もり、身につけたときの柔らかさ
深く美しい銀の表情があります

There are meny steps involved in making each beads,
and it takes a tremendous amount of effort and time
to make a single necklace or bracelet.
In today's world where most works is done by machines
Ericka Nicolas Begay continues to create
every beads, hook, and cone by hand
using the traditional Ingot Silver technique.
The warmth and gentle feel
can only be achieved by human hands-
a timeless tradition carried into the present.
